Project: ‘Republic Econimica’
‘Republic Economica' is a boutique restaurant and bar described as the ‘Recession Saviours of South Yarra.’ Since their opening, they have amassed a cult following in response to low-budget menus, late-night music acts, and a rebellious approach to curating. To support the brand’s online presence, a series of ‘low-budget’ content was art-directed to support their ethos and attitude as an off-the-wall diner. The majority of images are intended as a combination of messy, off-kilter and hard flash photography, capturing the rough and tough energy of Republic Economica. (Work as part of MA15 Studio.)
